A massive power outage affecting thousands in Russellville is now being blamed on God’s anger toward Randy Horton’s letter of support for a casino.
The outage affected thousands of customers in the city and was triggered the same day outgoing Mayor Randy Horton issued the letter.
Several citizens took to social media to announce the news. “The power outage has to do with this casino. God hates liars. Protect poor people!”
Another citizen said this was the start of the new dark ages. “It’s so dark now, where is our light?”
While not confirmed, some also attribute the sparking power station to be the collective minds of several anti-casino activists’ head exploding, this causing a power surge.
God could not be reached for comment, but an FOI of his word could not find a mention of a casino
